27. Anna Harvey: Remedying Injustice With Data Science

Todays talks sees a fascinating conversation on how data analytics is being deployed into the criminal justice system with aims in helping remedy instances of injustice and inequality. In the process attempting to note what the long term implications of certain laws and policies are.

We also touch on the importance of funding data driven research in the political sphere and on what needs to be done politically to ensure that political scientist’s research is acknowledged and considered.
